As the deadline for this assignment loomed (and my own emotion shot remained elusive) I began to worry whether this was too ambitious for what would be a first-go at street photography for many of you. I opened the club email last night with my eyes squinted, worried I would find it empty. Instead, I saw that the photoclubbers had come through with shots of joy, longing, the meeting place of elation and fatigue, familial revelry, and more than a little Bostonian ennui.
Good work clubbers! You've done me proud :) I hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as I enjoyed your pictures.
Tomorrow a new assignment will be posted--new comers and wanna-be's welcome!
Jenny-I feel like the low resolution on your photo somehow worked for your benefit. your photos turned into this strange impressionistic series and I just kind of loved them.
ReplyDeletePeter-I'm glad you were able to submit. For me your photo gives me almost the most emotion of any this week, though it leaves it to the beholder to determine exactly which emotion it is. very intriguing.
